NYX haul & SWATCHES!

Hello again! I'm really glad I get to blog a lot more for this week. As you can tell I love NYX lippies and thank goodness they are so affordable! I want to say I have around 30+...I think? Alot huh? I plan to do a post on my older ones eventually.




LIPSTICKS

Plain lips for reference



Castle - sheer; I LOVE this one. It is actually a pretty purple/pink! For some reason, I really wanted to like lavender whip and fashion mews by MAC, but it didn't look right on me. I really like that I can finally have a purplish lipstick.

Opal - sheer; It is white in the tube, but when it goes on it becomes a beautiful iridescent pink. P0WP0WBABY inspired me to get this one. I've never had vellum by MAC, but it is mentioned that this lipstick is like vellum for the lips. It can be worn alone, but I think it would look best paired with another lippie!

Harmonica - sheer; At first, I thought this wasn't going to work for me because it was a sheer pale frosty pink, but it was okay for me. I think this would look good paired with a pink lipgloss.

Honey - matte/satin; This is similar to circe, but I think a bit warmer. I still have to swatch them side by side to compare. Let me know if you really want to see that. I love nudes, so I'm glad I got to add this to my collection.



Perfect - sheer; What a perfect name for a perfect lipstick! This one really works out wonderful for me as an everyday lipstick. It's just so natural looking!

Milan - matte/satin; This is a pretty everyday warm pink lipstick.

Darling - sheer; I probably won't be using this one. It's like a coppery sheer color.

Peony - shimmer?; This one didn't look the same on camera. In person, there are pink shimmers and looks pretty.

LIPGLOSS


Doll pink - this one is like barbie pink from the megashine lipglosses, which I prefer. This is just a cute hot pink color.

Ballerina pink - I never had a pink like this, so I'm glad I got this one!

Sorbet - nice for an everyday look.

Baby pink - cute and sheer, I would definitely pair this with a lipstick like harmonica.



Cafe latte - I was excited about this one when I saw it on Vanessa's blog.

Whipped - I wanted to really like this one, but I don't. For some reason, it settles into the cracks on my lips. It really is a nice color. *sorry the pic is blurry*

Kiss - This one is nice, I like it for work/play.

Taupe - (megashine) I did not intend to wear this alone, but this is how it looks like alone. I wanted a good dupe of MAC's c-thru and read that this was, so I'm going to pair it with my nude lipsticks.

NAILPOLISH

Karnak - I'm still not adventurous with nails yet, but I think this is a nice nude IMO.
*EDIT* lol I forgot to mention the felt tip liner and mascara.
This is my favorite felt tip liner I have ever tried! I really recommend this! Mascara has been working out great! It lengthens and keeps the lashes soft, not stiff!

As of right now, I have nothing really more on my NYX wishlist lol. I'll be GOOD for awhile. :) Any questions...let me know! Enjoy!
